A Foodie’s Dream: My Visit to EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts 2025

EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts has always been my favorite festival of the year, and my visit on February 8, 2025, only solidified that opinion. From stunning visual displays to live performances and, of course, the artistic culinary creations, this festival never disappoints. While the Figment popcorn bucket wasn’t nearly as cute this year (sorry, Figment lovers!), the food and drinks absolutely stole the show. Let’s dive into my favorite eats and sips from this year’s festival!

A Culinary Masterpiece: My Must-Try Dishes

Beef Wellington – The Craftsman’s Courtyard

This dish was a revelation. Perfectly cooked beef wrapped in a flaky, golden puff pastry with a rich mushroom duxelles and a velvety demi-glace—it was everything a classic Beef Wellington should be. If you’re a fan of hearty, savory dishes, this is a must-try.

Citrus-Braised Beet Tartare – Gourmet Landscapes

Plant-based food lovers, rejoice! This dish was a true work of art. The golden beet “egg yolk” was a brilliant touch, and the combination of pickled mustard seeds, mustard vinaigrette, spiced pistachios, and “feta” snow made for a bold and balanced flavor experience. Even if you’re skeptical about beets, this one might just change your mind!

Tomato Soup with Pimento Cheese, Bacon, and Fried Green Tomato Grilled Cheese – Pop Eats!

Pop Eats! delivered again with this elevated take on a comforting classic. The pimento cheese added a creamy, tangy punch, the bacon provided the perfect salty crunch, and that fried green tomato inside the grilled cheese? Absolute genius. Pair it with the perfectly spiced tomato soup, and you’ve got a bite of nostalgia with a gourmet twist.

The Imagination Cone – Swirled Showcase

As a Figment fan, I had to try this adorable (and delicious) soft-serve treat. A whimsical bubblegum-flavored soft serve topped with Nerds candies, it was a sweet, creamy nod to EPCOT’s beloved mascot. While the popcorn bucket this year didn’t wow me, this treat definitely did!

Sip and Savor: My Favorite Drinks

Keel Farms Strawberry Shortcake Hard Cider – Deco Delights

Let’s just say I may have found my new obsession. This cider was perfectly balanced—sweet but not cloying, with a rich strawberry flavor and a touch of biscuit-like warmth that truly evoked strawberry shortcake. If I could take home a case, I would.

Keel Farms Blueberry Lavender Hard Cider – Tangierine Café

Another gem from Keel Farms! This cider had the perfect blend of fruity blueberry and floral lavender, making it a refreshingly unique sip. The lavender wasn’t overpowering, just a light, aromatic finish that made it stand out from typical hard ciders.

Secret Menu Alert: The Artgarita – La Cava del Tequila

If you know, you know. This hidden gem is a must-order for margarita lovers. Vibrant colors, top-tier tequila, and a perfect balance of sweet and tart make this secret menu item worth the hype. Pro tip: Tell the bartenders Dom sent you — they’ll know exactly what you’re looking for!

Final Thoughts: Why Festival of the Arts Remains My Favorite

Despite the slight disappointment with the Figment popcorn bucket this year, EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts remains my favorite festival at Disney. The combination of creativity, flavor, and immersive experiences makes it an event worth returning to year after year. Whether you’re a foodie, an art lover, or just looking for a fun way to spend the day at EPCOT, this festival is an absolute must-visit.
